Rama Overseas Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial gloves & safety garments. Established in the year 1975, we have been manufacturing gloves for leading brands and exporting overseas including Australia, Europe, North and South America etc.
We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified company which is now one of the largest manufacturers as well as exporters of industrial gloves and safety garments. Initially we started our business with the export of finished leather to the far East, where it was made into hand gloves and sent onto Europe and USA. Subsequently, manufacturing and export of safety garments was also added to the product range.
Our products not only confirm the international quality and safety but also ensure 100% client satisfaction by on time delivery.
We are capable of producing 12 million pairs of leather gloves and 1.8 million pieces of work wear like safety jackets, trousers, bib pants and garments used for medical purpose, annually.We also produce – 1. Welding apparels such as Leather Jackets, Aprons, Trousers, Arm and Leg Guards.
2. Apart from all we are also specialized in technical garments such as anti static, lint free, flame resistant wear etc (for design and patterns we use Accumark pattern management & Gerber Plotter).
3. Embroidery & printing of customized garments is also done by us.
Our policy is to produce high quality products of international standards and maintain delivery schedules strictly as per client’s requirement. We are constantly working towards achieving the mission.
We are located in the’City of Joy’- Kolkata, West Bengal. We use 400 sewing machines and 100 hydraulic clickers for our production, these machines are overhauled from time to time to keep them in proper working conditions and to ensure a smooth production process-
Raw materials of premium quality, bought from reliable and renowned suppliers, are used in the manufacturing process to ensure international standards and quality in our leather products.
The work forces employed for production are professionally trained and highly skilled. Our first preference is the quality of product ensured by well qualified and trained workers. We are privileged to have a core team of 500 workers, who give their full potential to their work daily, right from acquiring raw materials to creating final products. We work with an advanced machinery including automatic spreading, electronic UVT stitching machines, pattern sewers etc which not only increases productivity .Also, we are one of very few manufacturers from our region who have Automatic Leather Drying machine in order to control the Chromium VI.
Our ISO certification ensures that all our products and services conform to strict globally recognized quality standards. The finished products that are finally made for export abide strictly to the European CE norms.Our gloves are tested in Europe by approved CE testing institutes and we also possess certification for CAT II levels.
Moreover, the various departments in our manufacturing units work in close coordination to offer the best solutions and products to clients, while ensuring 100% client satisfaction. We always maintain a large inventory of goods to cater to bulk demands within the scheduled time frames.
